Hi, my name is Joe Cavness.

I'm a filmmaker and editor based in Bentonville, Arkansas.

As the Sr. Filmmaker and Editor for Walmart Films, I'm currently leading a talented team of filmmakers, where I help shape stories that resonate deeply with audiences, from concept to final cut. I've spent years behind the camera, perfecting the craft of capturing light, movement, and emotion through the lens. It was this passion for cinematography that laid the foundation for where I am today. For the past 17 years, I've also been deeply immersed in editing—bringing stories to life through cuts, rhythm, and creative effects. Moving forward, I see the future of filmmaking in post-production, where everything comes together, and that's the space I'm excited to continue exploring and innovating in.
